Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures has released the first teaser trailer for “Dumbo,” a new live-action movie directed by Tim Burton. A CGI version of the flying elephant shows off his big ears opposite a circus of a cast that includes Danny DeVito, Colin Farrell, Michael Keaton and Eva Green. “Dumbo,” which follows Disney’s other live-action adaptations like “Beauty and the Beast,” “The Jungle Book” and “Cinderella,” will be released March 29, 2019.
Jamie Foxx accused of sexual misconduct
Oscar winner Jamie Foxx is being accused of sexual misconduct. TMZ reports a woman has spoken to police about an alleged 2002 incident in Las Vegas where he allegedly tried to get her to perform oral sex. She says when she refused, he hit her in the face with his penis, and one of Foxx’s friends kicked her out of his house; she says she was hospitalized with panic attacks afterwards. Las Vegas Police say the investigation is open, even though the statute of limitations has run out.
The accuser has not been identified, but she says she’s coming forward after being inspired by the #MeToo movement and hopes to inspire other potential accusers to speak up.
An attorney for the 50-year-old actor, whose real name is Eric Marlon Bishop, said he “emphatically denies that this incident ever occurred” and plans to file a police report against the woman. “The first time he became aware of this woman’s absurd claims about an incident that supposedly occurred 16 years ago was when TMZ contacted his representatives [Tuesday] about this story,” lawyer Allison Hart said.
