Alley Kats’ annual FELIDAE Concert is approaching on June 23, 2018! Named after the word for a family of cats, the FELIDAE Concert is a chance for the Alley Kats tap dancers and band to give a spirit-filled performance. This year, the show will include a full company of in-house talent that’s giving fans an opportunity to see new and old projects from the troupe.
As a company, the Alley Kats troupe is focusing on more original pieces and performances that focus on each dancer’s improvisational skills, something that the 2018 FELIDAE Concert will emphasize. At the heart of the production, it will allow each of the dancers to be vulnerable with themselves and the audience as they execute rhythm patterns that have been choreographed and created specifically for each dancer.
According to Alley Kats Owner and Artistic Director Luke A. Loffelmacher, the live music, singing and tap dancing at the FELIDAE Concert will provide a night of entertainment for the audience with some surprises that will leave everyone “standing up in your seats.” Loffelmacher will be present throughout the performances during the concert to ensure each piece is given its full justice and help in connecting the story of tap!
The Alley Cats’ FELIDAE Concert will be Saturday, June 23rdfrom 7:30 pm – 9:15 pm with no intermission. Tickets are $25 per person and will be available at the door if they are not sold out prior to the production.
